Sources of pollution

Pollution is the introduction of pollutants into the eco-environment that cause adverse change. Nature of pollution source is described as point source or non-point (diffuse) pollutions, which derive from human activities.

The main sources of pollution entering the eco-environment, including but are not limited:
1. Industry - chemical, coal-fired power, oil refineries, petrochemical plants ect.
2. Agriculture - livestock farms (dairy cows, pigs, poultry, etc.);
3. Transportation
4. Urban wastewater.
